Long Island Fall Pumpkin Picking Guide 2020

Fall is finally here and what better way to spend your weekend then at some of Long Island’s best pumpkin patches! There’s a farm for everyone, from pumpkins to hayrides, it’s a fall tradition that can’t be beaten. Check out some of our favorites below!

 

Elwood Pumpkin Farm

Long Island’s most western pumpkin farm. You can pick pumpkins off the vine and they are priced by size. They also offer a child corn maze and hayride.

F&W Schmitt’s Family Farm

F&W Schmitt’s Family Farm’s annual fall festival runs from September 19th-October 31st. Admission includes a playground, straw pyramid, mini-golf, hayride wagon rides. Visitors can pick their own pumpkins or stop by the farm stand for pies, veggies, decorations, and more.

Lewin Farm

U-Pick fields are generally open daily from 9am-4:30pm from late September to late October. There is also a farm stand offering a full line of fresh fruits and veggies.

Harbes Family Farm

Harbes Family Farm is a family-friendly farm with a corn maze, barnyard animals, and a playground. Their pumpkin patch boasts 8 acres of u-pick pumpkins. There’s fun for the adults too at their wine barn where you can stop by for wine tastings by the glass or bottle.

Hank’s Pumpkintown

Open September 12th– November 1st Hank’s has pumpkin picking 7 days a week and features fall family activities like their maze park, gem mining, apple picking, and tractor rides. Their market sells freshly baked pies, cookies, candy apples, cider donuts, and more.

White Post Farms offers pumpkin picking, pony rides, face painting, fresh apple cider, and family entertainment, plus you can get up close and personal with all your favorite farm animals.
