Long Island Farmers Market Guide

Nothing screams summer like fresh fruits and veggies! You don’t have to head to the North Fork to stock up on locally grown produce and artisanal goods. You can shop, socialize, sample & support local farmers at one of the many farmers’ markets across Long Island. We’ve compiled a list of our favorites below.

 

Deer Park Tanger Outlet Farmers Market

Located around the fountain at the Piazza, vendors sell local fruits, vegetables, flowers and more.

Hours: Saturdays 10:00 am to 3:00 pm June 1 through October 26

Location: Tanger Outlets at the Arches

 

Garden City Farmers Market

Fruits, vegetables, pickles, eggs, honey

Hours: Tuesdays 7:00 am to 1:00 pm, June 4 through November 26

Location: 101 County Seat Dr. behind State Supreme Court

 

Long Beach Farmers Market

Pick up some certified organic vegetables, herbs, and greens from conventional and transitional farms. There are also fruits, juices, beer, pasta, pickles, soaps, fish, bread, cakes, and cookies.

Hours: Saturdays 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, May 25 through November 23 and Wednesdays 9:00 am to 2:00 pm June 5 through October 30

Location: Kennedy Plaza, 1 West Chester St

 

Port Washington Organic Farmers Market

This is the only 100% organic farmers market in NY state. Here you’ll find muffins, eggs, goat cheese, honey & organic coffee.

Hours: Saturdays 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, June through October

Location: Town Dock on Main Street

 

Patchogue Farmers Market

Swing by and grab fruits, veggies, bread, microgreens, hummus, flowers, jams, and jelly.

Hours: Sundays 9:00 am to 1:00 pm June 16 through November and Fridays 9:00 am – 1:00 pm June 14 through November 18

Location: East side of the Patchogue Rail Road Station parking lot

 

Rockville Centre Farmers Market

You’ll find fruits, veggies, baked goods, flowers, soaps, freshly caught fish, spices, and homemade chicken burgers among the offerings at the RVC Farmers’ Market.

Hours: Sundays 7:00 am to 12:00 pm June 2 through November 24

Location: Long Island Railroad parking lot 12, Sunrise Highway

 

Babylon Village Farmers Market

Head to Babylon to find fresh fruits, veggies, artisanal bread, pickles, kombucha, and flowers.

Hours: Sundays 8:00 am to 1:00 pm June through November

Location: Railroad and North Carll Ave in the LIRR parking lot

 

Huntington Center Farmers Market

Featuring locally grown corn, green beans, wildflowers, apples, grapes & homemade Italian fare.

Hours: Sundays 7:00 am to 12:00 pm June 2 through November 24

Location: Main Street Rt. 25A, East of Rt. 110 North

 

Islip Farmers Market

Among the fresh fruits and vegetables, you’ll find plants, nuts, baked goods, dog treats, pastries, pies, pickles, and juices.

Hours: Saturdays 7:00 am to 12:00 pm June 1 through November 23

Location: Islip Town Hall parking lot, 655 Main Street

 

Northport Farmers Market

This waterfront farmers market features bread, wontons, oils, pickles, empanadas cheese, and skincare products.

Hours: Saturdays 8:00 am to 12:30 pm June through November

Location: Cow Harbor Parking Lot, Main Street

 

Sayville Farmers Market

Located inside the park at Islip Grange, you’ll find a variety of fruits, veggies, chicken burgers, honey, granola, nut butter, and pickles.

Hours: Saturdays 9:00 am to 2:00 pm May through November
